Once upon a time in 2004, PTB convened a meeting of associates from across industry under the auspices of 'The Pavilion Dialogue'; structured as a Series of discusses akin to Plato's Academy in 376 BC Athens.
The purpose of the Dialogue was to reason together in the ancient texts about the intricate but immutable link between Values, Value and Valuation for real life Industry Practioners in challenging environments and how they can win by becoming 'Trustees of True Riches' who rise by lifting others from survival through to success and significance. It was the anti- denomination & anti-personal fiefdom and greed manifesto.
Today, associates of the original Dialogue have risen to the top echelons of Industry and after many years of sharing the principles and practices they gleaned from the series in hushed tones amongst colleagues and associates; they are regrouping with like-minds to orchestrate a movement that will translate these timeless principles into a scalable Institution that can meet 'The Youth Challenge' of our times. The original manual for 'Trustees of True Riches' is now the manifesto for a movement- The Trustees of True Riches Alliance; TOTRA. The next chapter of this story, like its origin, will be the stuff of history books.
When the Lord God Almighty established the riches of His Goodness, of His Mercy, of His Grace and of His Glory, I am persuaded that He wanted us to express these gifts for our Survival, Success and Significance and eventually for sustenance for the extension of His kingdom on earth. We are called as believers to deploy our talents, time and treasure to the good works of the kingdom lest we fall short like the Servant in the parable of the Talents in Mathew 25, who hid his talent in the wrong place rather than partner with the two other more talented servants or place it in bank deposits- his folly was hiding his talent in the wrong place! The Call: And It Came to His Heart! The purpose of my life is embedded in the words of Apostle Paul, as written in II Corinthian 1 verse 3-4; It is a Ministry of Comfort.
The Trustees of True Riches is an avenue to extend this call and its circle of influence and impact. Our origin Story has been made plain and written in the tablet of the heart of a young associate as an idea whose time has come. I consider it a rare privilege (II Corinthian 26) and a profound opportunity to be called for this assignment at such a time as this; we, therefore welcome all destiny helpers on this journey of Comfort! My sincere prayer is that you will be comforted all around by the Father and may you be the comfort God desires for His people, amen.
